Because nobody survives without internet these days, even in the mountains:

Tip: The password is the same for the whole house, so you don’t need to type it into every device separately. Couples — just share it right away, and avoid the later “but you have the password, why don’t I?” scenario. 😅
TV & OnePlay 📺
The apartment has a smart TV with access to OnePlay — movies, series, and plenty of other shows without ads (almost).
Login details are on the card by the TV. You don’t need to enter your own account — we provide free access of our own.
⚠️ Please don’t log out of the account or change the password after your stay — future guests probably wouldn’t appreciate that.
Enjoy your viewing, and ideally no fights over the remote! 😉
Heating & temperature 🌞
The whole apartment has underfloor heating — quiet, invisible, and surprisingly effective. Set the temperature on the thermostat in each room.
Pro tip: Underfloor heating reacts slowly (it’s philosophical — like you in the morning). If you’re cold, raise the temperature by 1–2 degrees and wait. Don’t crank it straight to maximum — or you’ll end up sleeping with the window open at night.
Sauna — your bonus, included in the price 🧘🏻
A private sauna awaits you behind the house, included in your booking. Free. No extra charge. Because we think the Jeseníky without a sauna is like pizza without Italian ingredients.
How it works: - The sauna is outside behind the house — you’ll see it, you won’t get lost - There’s a cold-water shower in front of the sauna - Instructions for starting it are right on the sauna (yes, an actual paper manual — read it) - You’ll find sheets in the apartment — bring them with you
‼️ Please leave the sauna clean after use, for the next guests
⚠️ The sauna takes about 30 minutes to heat up. Plan ahead — spontaneity has its limits.
Storing sports equipment 🎿
Summer — bikes 🚲 - Designated bike racks are on both sides of the house - Please use only the marked spot (the path in front of the neighbors serves a different purpose) - We recommend locking your bike — gravity and greed work just fine in the Jeseníky too
Winter — skis and gear 🎿 - Each apartment has its own lockable ski locker in the basement — the key is on the same keyring as your apartment key - Ski boot dryers are available in the basement (a life-changer after a wet day on the slopes) - Please don’t store skis, boots, or gear in the living areas — not just because of the rules, but also for the sake of your nose
Before you leave (checklist for a stress-free departure) ✅
We know nobody loves leaving. But a few things really help us out:
✓ Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it (no need to wait for the cycle to finish)
✓ Take the trash out to the bins in front of the house
✓ Close all the windows
✓ Turn off the lights in every room
✓ Return the keys to the box (the one you picked them up from)
✓ Check for chargers, hats, and swimsuit 😉

Trip ideas
You’re in the heart of the Jeseníky Mountains — there’s enough to do here for a whole week. Here’s our top picks:
🌳 Loučná nad Desnou Castle Park — perfect for a quiet walk or a phone call to your parents
👼🏻 “U Andela” Lookout — short climb, big view. Effort-to-reward ratio: 1:10
🐱 Rysí skála + Medvědí hora Nature Trail (Kouty nad Desnou) — you probably won’t meet a lynx, but the trail is nice
🏔️ Červená hora and the peaks of the Hrubý Jeseník range — panoramas truly worth the climb
⚡️ Dlouhé Stráně Hydroelectric Power Plant — one of the biggest engineering attractions in the Czech Republic. We recommend the tour
🧘🏻 Velké Losiny Thermal Park — 6 km, about 7 minutes by car. The perfect way to end a ski day (or a great day on its own)
🌲 Trips in the area
The Jeseníky Mountains are a paradise for nature lovers, sightseers, and families out for a walk. We’ve picked out the nicest spots nearby:
🏔️ Dlouhé Stráně: One of the biggest engineering attractions in the Czech Republic, with stunning views. Go on foot, by bike, or take an organized tour.
🌲 Praděd: The highest mountain in the Jeseníky range and one of the most popular tourist spots in the Czech Republic. On a clear day you can even see distant mountain ranges from the lookout tower.
💦 Bílá Opava Waterfalls: One of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Jeseníky, full of footbridges and cascades. Ideal for an active outing.
🦌 Rysí skála Nature Trail: A short, easy trail suitable even for families with children, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
🚠 Kouty nad Desnou – cable car and mountain trails: Take the cable car up to Medvědí hora and choose from many hiking and biking trails.

You can use the voucher included in your welcome package at all three restaurants. The voucher is transferable for the whole duration of your stay.

CBA shop: Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–11:30 AM Velkolosinské pralinky confectionery: daily 9:00 AM–6:00 PM — pralines, pastries, cakes, and plenty of other treats.
Fair warning: you’ll buy more than you planned to.
A few rules (we promise, not many)
🚭 Smoking is strictly forbidden indoors throughout — this also applies to e-cigarettes and hookahs
🤫 Quiet hours: please respect your neighbors and other guests, especially after 10:00 PM
🐕 Pets: allowed, but rules apply — no sleeping in the bed or on the sofa, not left alone in the apartment, and no “souvenirs” left around the property. Please note the owner is liable for any damage caused by the animal and will be charged accordingly.
🔑 Keys: your responsibility for the whole stay — losses are handled with the operator
💥 Damage: please report it to reception/by phone as soon as possible — mistakes happen, problems get solved
